Its success hasn’t come by chance, but by keeping to the formula laid out by its founders. Our brands are premium, but good value. Our service is personal, but not pushy. We’ve carried this way of working over to our online store, so every customer has a great experience online that’s backed up by first-rate service.

Thackerays stores

The heart of the Thackerays business lies in Northampton, where we’ve been styling fashionable men and women since 1972 when Brian and Eileen Richards first opened the doors. On the Wellingborough Road is our flagship store, Thackerays Man+Woman, offering contemporary fashions from big names such as Paul Smith, Vivienne Westwood and Marc by Marc Jacobs. Directly opposite is Thackerays Heritage, with an array of suiting and classic casuals exclusively for men. More recently, we’ve also opened branches of Thackerays Man+Woman in Nottingham and Milton Keynes.

Other stores

In the centre of Northampton is Circus, with edgy lines for men and women. Our attention to detail has allowed each store to develop its own personality through interiors and unique brand lists tailored to reflect the customer. We’re also a long-time partner of Hugo Boss, one of our biggest brands across all of our stores, and run the Hugo Boss store in Leicester offering menswear and womenswear lines from across the Hugo Boss family.
