Autumn/Winter 19 is fast approaching and with new collections arriving at the speed of sound we thought it about time we let you in on just what trends are arising for AW19; because of course your style matters to us. So here we go, the key trends for AW19:
Big dress energy:
We know you've all loved the dresses from our spring/summer collections which were both lightweight and airy and made for the perfect additions to your spring/summer wardrobes. But with autumn/winter approaching, the dresses are set to be bigger and better than ever. With brands such as Stine Goya bringing back their Jasmine dress in a heavier weight, meaning you will want to wear this for both day and night even in the coldest of the English months. New brand Essentiel Antwerp have also given us the Toise dress which makes for a fuller silhouette and really embodies what the big dress energy is all about. Of course we aren't forgetting about Rixo, the brand who always provides us with show-stopping dresses that are sure to get heads turning as soon as you walk out the door.
The brighter, the better is our motto this AW19. Autumn is set to be full of bright colour hues, with everything from vibrant orange to royal blue making a stand. We can't wait to get our hands on the Essentiel Antwerp Teveland dress in orange so that we can stand out in style, and paired with black suede western style boots for a different approach to autumn/winter dressing. Stine Goya have also hoped on this trend with the likes of Jada skirt in solid blue and the Carlo jumper in blue which we just know are going to brighten up even the dullest of days come autumn/winter.
With Wednesday Adams as our style muse, when autumn/winter comes around and the dark draws upon us we can't help but want to be dressed in all things black, lace and gothic. Brands such as Religion, Levete Room and French Connection promise to give us just what we wanted in the form of dark floral dresses, black lace shirts and lace trim tops. Paired with black boots and accessories, a dark outfit never looked so good.
Reptile footwear in the form of faux snakeskin and croc will be your go-to when wanting to make a subtle statement this autumn/winter. From the likes of Shoe The Bear and Ganni providing us with THE perfect boots which can be worn with everything from the latest J Brand jeans to new season dresses. We know you'll want to slither in style.
