Belstaff

About Belstaff

In 1924, a father and son-in-law team founded Belstaff in Stoke-on-Trent. Using the first ever waterproof and breathable fabric, they began specialising in all-weather motorbike jackets which fast became a hit with aviators and motorcyclists. Today, the brand’s collections of edgy-cool jackets have become a wardrobe staple in fashion circles.

A genuine British heritage brand, Belstaff jackets are synonymous with independence, status, spirit and adventure. Their impressive technical knowledge has allowed them to develop waterproof, windproof and high-performance durable fabrics that are resistant to heavy friction.

Belstaff produce leather jackets, wax cotton jackets and Nylon jackets, and for those in search of a classic look Belstaff is the must-have brand. Looking back to their archive, Belstaff takes inspiration from their own classic styles combining old and new knowledge, technique and design.

In reflection of the brands adventurous spirit, Belstaff has supplied jackets for many high-energy action films including The Dark Knight, Iron Man 2 and Mission Impossible III. While their celebrities fans include Hollywood heavyweights Tom Cruise, Ewan McGregor, Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt (who has even had a Belstaff jacket named after him).
