The best shows and street style from Copenhagen fashion week 2020

Updated: Feb 18

Over the past few years, Copenhagen fashion week has really risen to the top; gone are the days when the only fashion weeks that mattered where London, New York, Paris and Milan. With many Scandi brands becoming the next big thing and influencers and celebrities wearing them more and more, it was only a matter of time before Copenhagen fashion week became one of the most talked about fashion weeks of the year.

We always look forward to Copenhagen fashion week the most; from the stand out shows to the incredible street style, our Instagram feed is always full of so much inspiration that we end up dreaming about it at night, wishing we were too a Scandi girl.

So, without further ado, we've put together a mixture of street style and shows that we have loved from Copenhagen Fashion Week 2020...

When we first saw the pictures from the Fall 2020 Ganni show, we were kinda lost for word; the most incredible show with even more incredible pieces gracing the catwalk.

With a huge focus on the idea of what this decade will bring; the brand made it clear just what sustainability means to them and how they thrive to achieve the idea of being 100% sustainable... this passion of there's really does make us love the brand even more.

The collection had everything a girl could ever dream of for autumn/winter: head-to-toe leather outfits, native floral prints, simplistic ribbed-knit dresses and even more exaggerated collars. Some of the pieces in the collection definitely took on a 90s approach to dressing while others screamed Matrix...we really couldn't get enough of it.

If you are like us and have a slight (okay huge) obsession with colour then Stine Goya is the brand for you. This was probably the show we most looked forward to, and believe us, it did not disappoint; a show like no other.

The collection for Fall 2020 was said to be dedicated to artists Christo and Jeanne-Claude and was called 'on air'. With a huge focus on vibrant colours, floaty designs and crazy patterns. We loved the idea of incorporating more colour into our wardrobe for autumn/winter; staying just as playful and bold as we would do in the summer.

Now we move onto the street style from Copenhagen fashion week; bloggers, influencers and celebrities wearing an array of current and future trends mixed together to make some of what we would consider the best outfits in the business...these girls really know how to style an outfit and get people talking.

Street style included everything from boilersuits, vibrant colour-blocking, pastel colours, big dresses, different shades of leather and collars; all being worn in the most stylish ways possible. We even spotted Leonie Hanne (German based influencer) wearing our new in Stine Goya Rhode dress in lime green; paired with a lightweight sage green trench coat and mint accessories and shoes...it was one of the most stand out outfits from fashion week (in our opinion).

So there you have it, a little sneak peak into Copenhagen fashion week and what we expect to see a lot of come Fall 2020.
