THIS IS NOT A DRILL: Stine Goya SS20 has just dropped

We could not contain our excitement when the delivery came in and we realised Stine Goya's spring/summer 2020 collection had finally landed; a collection that truly defines the brands ode to colour, experimental designs and stand out patterns.

For SS20 the collection explores the 'colours, prints and shapes through the extravagant aesthetic and freedom of expression of international Ballroom culture. ' So expect to see an awful lot of silk, vibrant colour hues and bold prints for this season. It's all about truly standing out.

Here are our top picks from the collection:

The Farrow dress is a style we know and love; a feminine style with a flowy silhouette, ruffled hem and tie waist making for a super flattering fit. For SS20, the farrow dress comes in what we would call 'the picnic blanket print', a mix of two tartan prints in red and white which come together to create the most eclectic summer dress we could have ever asked for.

This dress will be your go-to for summer barbeques spent with friends and family, trips to pub gardens or picnics in the park. It's the type of dress that requires minimal effort to style: throw on a pair of chunky trainers and a straw bag and you have yourself a stand out spring/summer outfit.

Feeling as though you may want to dress it up a little? Pair with a small white heel, some dazzling earrings and a red lip and just like that, you have yourself a day to night outfit.

The Gia top is probably THE cutest spring/summer top we ever did see. Crafted in a blue textured material, it features adorable tied shoulders and is cut for a slightly cropped style, which will look absolutely amazing when paired with the matching Joselyn shorts...yes you heard us right, there are matching shorts.

The Joselyn shorts are cut short and feature a beautiful frilled hem, as well as an elasticated hemline (which we are over the moon about) and look amazing paired with either the matching Gia top or a classic cotton t-shirt and trainers.

If you are off somewhere hot this year and want an outfit that you can easily throw on with sandals for during the day or dress up with a wedge at night then this matching set is going to be your new best friend. Oh, and just think about the ability to wear them together or on their own to create so many different outfits, what more could you want?

The Rhode dress is definitely the showstopper piece from the SS20 collection; an elegant lime green dress that is fitted at the waist but drapes down into a fluid skirt and sits around the ankles. It's a sherbet dream.

Whether you have a spring/summer wedding to attend or any parties, this is going to be the perfect dress that will leave you looking and feeling your absolute best. Pair with a dainty heel, a cream or white clutch bag and gold jewellery to match for next level glam.

We say it time and time again, but you can never have too many LBD's. This beautiful black lace print dress makes for the perfect going out piece and one that is truly unique; featuring voluminous sleeves and a button down front, as well as a tie waist to make sure it hugs you in at the waist. If you saw our Instagram story the other day, you'd have seen how flattering this dress looked on our womenswear buyer.

For the ultimate sophisticated night out look, pair the Dida dress with black stilettos, a black clutch to match and silver jewellery. We know this will quickly become an outfit you will want to return to time and time again.

As you can tell, our womenswear buyers absolutely adore this red and white plaid print...but who wouldn't? The Eddy top is a style we've had in before and has been a firm favourite amongst our customers, with its stand collar and voluminous sleeves. For spring/summer plaid and checks are a key trend and this top is sure to make a statement.

We'll be wearing ours with our favourite denim jeans come spring, and when the weather gets warmer (fingers crossed) with denim shorts.
